The CII will organise the 12th edition of Agro Tech 2016 in Chandigarh from November 19 to 22. Gujarat has confirmed its participation in the event this year.
Addressing a road show held in Ahmedabad for the upcoming 12th edition of CII Agro Tech 2016, Dr Abhay Firodia, chairman, CII Agro Tech 2016 and Chairman, Force Motors Ltd., encouraged enterprises in Gujarat to confirm their participation for the fair.
‘Building Global Competitiveness in Agriculture’ is the theme of this event. The CII Agro Tech 2016 has already received confirmation of international participants from Bulgaria, Canada, China, Italy, Germany, Spain, The Netherlands and Turkey.
The Union government is also planning to set up a ‘Make in India’ Pavilion to showcase the strengths of food processing sector in India to encourage the agri and food based start-ups.
