1,600 Samsung ‘Galaxy Fold’ sold out in just 30 minutes

New Delhi: Setting a sort of record in the smartphone segment, Samsung sold a total of 1,600 “Galaxy Fold” in flat 30 minutes after pre-bookings were open on its official online store on Friday, sources said. Consumers who pre-booked “Galaxy Fold” have paid the full amount of Rs 1,64,999 upfront  and will get devices delivered to them through a concierge on October 20. Don’t mandate specific call ring duration, Jio tells TRAI

New Delhi: Amid an industry feud over call ringing time, Reliance Jio has urged TRAI to abstain from mandating a specific duration for calls to ring, and said the matter should be kept under forbearance as “there is no need for any regulatory intervention”. Jio said if at all TRAI wants to take a view on the issue, it should be in form of a “reference guideline and not in form of a mandated value”. PTI
