CIA-2 wing of Bathinda police have arrested a woman, who posed as a qualified doctor and was giving medicines to people without any degree or qualification.

A case has been registered in the Nehianwala police station under Sections of 420 of the IPC and 15 of the Indian Medical Act. Investigating Officer Gursahib Singh of CIA-2 said that the police had arrested Kulwinder Kaur, a resident of Sukhchainpura Basti, Jaito in Faridkot district, after we received a tip-off that she was giving medicines to people in Nehianwala by posing as qualified doctor and the police arrested her from Nehianwala. — TNS
