Bathinda: A mobile wing of the Excise and Taxation Department sealed two godowns of liquor at Tapa Mandi in Barnala district on Tuesday. In the raid headed by AETC mobile wing, Prithpal Singh Bawa, a team seized around 1,600 boxes of imported and country-made liquor. While talking to Bathinda Tribune, Prithpal Singh Bawa said they had conducted a raid at two godowns in Tapa Mandi and after seizing around 1,600 boxes of liquor, they have noted the stock, brand details and handed over the record to the ETO, Barnala, and higher authorities, who would cross check the details of the stock carried forward by them. — TNS
