Three MNREGA women labourers were injured while doing the work of levelling the sand-dunes at Dhingar village in Mansa district on Friday evening.
They were injured as they came under sand which fell down. Two women fractured their legs in the incident, while one fell unconscious. The injured were taken to the Civil Hospital, Mansa, where doctors claimed that their condition was stable and they were out of danger.
As per information, MNREGA labourers women Dalip Kaur, Nikki Kaur and Mukhtair Kaur were digging mud at the sand-dunes in the village, during which sand fell on them and they were trapped under it. Listening to their shouts, villagers come to their rescue by removing the sand and took them out safely.
Dr Gitika Moira said all the three injured were stable and out of danger, but they were still under treatment.
