Students of BCom (Ist year) of Baba Farid College organised a theme-based fashion show under their live project activity. The fashion show was theme based and the participants were to represent a particular theme through their attire and body language, be it any particular regional culture, work place fashion.

The event received a good response with more than 50 students applying for the show. There were three rounds in the show. The round one was based on ramp walk. The shortlisted candidates introduced themselves and showcased their talent in the second round.

The final results were declared after the question round. Satnam Singh from MBA (1st semester) and Akashdeep Kaur from BCom (1st semester) were adjudged Mr and Ms Talented, respectively. Parwinder Singh from B Com (1st semester) bagged the title of Mr Handsome and Ramandeep Kaur from BCom (3rd semester) was declared Ms Charming.

Khushwinder Singh from MA (English) (1st semester) and Bhawana from BCom (1st semester) was adjudged the best performer. The stage was handled by Khushdeep, Shivani and Rupali, all students of the commerce department. The audience enjoyed the event, which showcased various dance and singing performances by students.

Dr Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman, BFGI, and Dr Jaya Ashish Sethi, Principal, Baba Farid College, appreciated the organising committee of the students and the adviser concerned and the entire department for the event.
