Teachers’ delegation submits memo

Teachers are irked over the termination of five teachers and Sanjha Adhyapak Morcha leaders Hardeep Singh, Harjit Singh Jeeda, Didar Singh Mudki, Harvinder Singh Rakhra and Bharat Bhushan.

Sanjha Adhyapak Morcha Bathinda unit convener Resham Singh and others, annoyed with the attitude of the state government and Education Department, led a delegation and submitted a memorandum to Bathinda Deputy Commissioner Praneet.

After submitting a memorandum, the teachers’ union leaders announced that on Wednesday, they would stage a protest against the anti-teacher Captain government by burning its effigy at Teachers Home in the city.

They also announced that SSA/RMSA teachers would not click the portal opened by the Education Department. They also appealed to the teachers to reach the protest venue in high numbers. — TNS
