Students asked to obey traffic rules

An informative workshop on traffic rules and various cautions to be taken by students was held on the premises of St. Joseph’s Convent Senior Secondary School, Bathinda.

Gurmeet Singh (SP, Traffic police, Bathinda), Parvinder Singh (in-charge, City Traffic, Bathinda), Karamjit Singh (staff officer to SSP) and Hakam Singh (in-charge, Traffic Education Cell) presided over the workshop.

The workshop was attended by staff and students of age group 10–17 years. Hakam Singh made the students aware of the importance of obeying traffic rules and how to remain safe on the road. He enlightened the students on different types of roadsigns. Gurmeet Singh gave a word of caution as not to accept any eatable from an outsider and not to accompany any stranger. He laid emphasis on the importance of discipline in one’s life.
