SSP fine with safety at refinery

Bathinda SSP Dr Nanak Singh on Tuesday visited Guru Gobind Singh Refinery and met senior officials of the HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL).

AS Basu, head of refinery operations, HMEL, gave him an overview of the Guru Gobind Singh Refinery infrastructure. Krishan Tuteja, V-P, Operations, and Ashok Kumar, V-P, human leadership, apprised the SSP of ongoing projects.

The SSP was given a detailed presentation by the HMEL security team regarding the state-of–the-art security and disaster management systems. He took a round of the refinery and also understood the ongoing petrochemical project.

He was impressed with the latest security and safety norms being followed at the HMEL. He assured his full cooperation in smooth and uninterrupted operations of the refinery.
