Unhappy over the collapsed sewerage system and incidents of sewage overflowing in the city, Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal on Sunday gave a dressing down to officials of the Sewerage and Water Supply Board, Triveni company and MCB during a meeting at the MCB meeting hall.

Manpreet Badal directed the XEN of the Sewerage Board to work seriously. “We will not allow his transfer from here as earlier too he had taken a transfer due to work pressure,” he said.

He told the officials to work as a team and resolve their internal departmental issue at the earliest.
