A two-day seminar on “Parents’ involvement in education” (PIE), organized jointly by Delhi Public School and Socio-Economic Welfare Society, New Delhi, concluded here on Wednesday.

Sanjay Khanna, convener of the Socio-Economic Welfare Society, shared his views with the parents on the pros and cons of technology and social media. He urged the parents to see these two as effective tools and not let their children get addicted to the gadgets.

Babita Khanna, academic head of Delhi Public School, Bathinda, and Patiala, expressed gratitude to the parents for their gracious presence and urged them to be equal partners in the education of their ward.

This was followed by a workshop for teachers on ‘conflict management’ under the aegis of the Institute of Conflict Management. Sanjay Khanna shared tools and tips with teachers on how to resolve conflicts. Babita Khanna, academic head of Delhi Public School, Bathinda, and Patiala, thanked the resource person. — TNS
