BATHINDA: The police claimed to have busted a gang of motorcycle thieves with the arrest of two persons, including a juvenile. The police have recovered three stolen motorcycles and an Activa from the suspects.

Bathinda: The police claimed to have busted a gang of motorcycle thieves with the arrest of two persons, including a juvenile. The police have recovered three stolen motorcycles and an Activa from the suspects. According to the police, they had received a tip-off that Lakhwinder Singh of Muktsar Sahib and Nanak Singh of Farikot, along with a 16-year-old boy, were involved in stealing motorcycles. According to information, they used to sell the stolen bikes by installing duplicate number plates. Acting on the tip-off, the police had registered a case at the Kotwali police station. Later, Lakhwinder and the 16-year-old boy were arrested at a naka laid near Fire Brigade Chowk. However, Nanak Singh is still at large. Later, the 16-year-old boy was released on bail. TNS

The police said they had received a tip-off that Bikkar Singh of Rampura was a drug addict and was involved in stealing a motorcycle from the city. Acting on the tip-off, the police had registered a case at the Kotwali police station. He was arrested with two stolen motorcycles at a naka laid near the vegetable market. TNS
