BATHINDA: The 65th Punjab State School Handball (U-14 boys’ and girls’) games concluded on a high note at Multi-Purpose Sports Stadium in Bathinda on Tuesday.

The 65th Punjab State School Handball (U-14 boys’ and girls’) games concluded on a high note at Multi-Purpose Sports Stadium in Bathinda on Tuesday.

In the final match (U-14 boys’ category), Mansa defeated Patiala 34-14 and won the state championship trophy. In third position match, Mohali defeated Sri Muktsar Sahib.

At closing ceremony of the games, Bathinda Tehsildar Sukhveer Singh Brar was chief guest. District Sports Officer Vijay Kumar was also present. 

District Education Officer Bathinda Kulwant Singh welcomed the guest. The chief guest congratulated the players and coaches. He said sports were important for all-round development of the person. He honoured the winning team.
