Bathinda: The police have booked unidentified persons for throwing poison in the pond at Shiv Parchar Mandir in Kalyana Malka village. Around 1.000 fish were killed due to the poison.

Bathinda: The police have booked unidentified persons for throwing poison in the pond at Shiv Parchar Mandir in Kalyana Malka village. Around 1.000 fish were killed due to the poison.  Narinder Kumar, secretary, Prachin Shiv Mandir committee, told the police that on the intervening night of August 17 and 18, some unidentified persons had thrown poison into the pond of the mandir due to which around 1,000 fish had died. A case under section 429 of the IPC has been registered against the suspects at the Nathana police station. TNS
