BFGI students shine in university exams

BATHINDA: Students of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM) from the Baba Farid Group of Institutions have performed well in examinations held by Punjabi University, Patiala.

Students of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM) from the Baba Farid Group of Institutions have performed well in examinations held by Punjabi University, Patiala.

Among first semester students of BBA, Simerpreet bagged first position by scoring 83 per cent marks. Karanveer Singh got second rank with 82.20 per cent marks. Prabhjot was on third position with 81.80 per cent marks.

Among Semester III students of BTTM, Dinky topped the college with 79.23 marks, followed by Sukhpreet Kaur, who got 75 per cent marks. Simranpreet was the college topper with 72 per cent marks in Semester I. Kamalpreet Kaur came second with 71.20 per cent marks.

Dr Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, chairman of the BFGI, congratulated the students. The chairman said the primary objective of the instiution was to make all students ready for the dynamic needs of the hospitality industry.
