Bathinda, July 17

Members of the United Christian Welfare Association gave a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner regarding the murder of pastor Sultan Masih.

Bike-borne youths shot three bullets at the pastor around 9 pm in front of Church Gate in Ludhiana on July 15.

President Rev George C Mashih said, “There is no place for violence in the Christianity. But minorities feel unsafe and unsecured in Punjab and in India because some of anti-social and anti-Christian groups want to smash and snatch the spirit of freedom from us by torturing and persecuting our community.” — TNS
