An incident has been reported in which three persons looted cash, phone and motorcycle from a resident at knifepoint at Growth Centre in Bathinda.

After getting information, a Bathinda Sadar police team reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The police have registered a case against unidentified persons and started searching for them.

Investigating officer Manjit Singh said on the basis of the complaint by Amandeep Singh, a resident of Ghasokhana, they had registered a case.

In a statement given to the police, it has been stated that on June 19, he was going for some work as he reached Growth Centre, the accused came on a motorcycle and took away his motorcycle, Rs 2,000 and i-phone at knifepoint from him.

The investigating officer said probe was on.
