Milad-un-Nabi celebrated

BATHINDA: The Muslim Human Welfare Society today took out procession in the markets across the city on Eid-Milad-un-Nabi, the eve of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.

The Muslim Human Welfare Society today took out procession in the markets across the city on Eid-Milad-un-Nabi, the eve of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.

A large number of people participated in the procession. Children were witnessed holding banners. Members of the Sirtul Nabi, Imam Ahmed Raza Society, Khwaza Garib Nawaz Young Society and Simna Society also participated in the procession.

The procession started from Dargah in Awa Basti and ended at the Baba Hazi Rattan Dargah after passing through Sirki Bazaar, Gol Diggi, Mall Road, Hanuman Chowk and bus stand.

At the dargah, rituals were performed demanding harmony and peace and light on the preachings of Hazrat Muhammad.

Muslim Human Welfare Society leader Sukhdev Khan, Mohamad Islam, Jamil Ahmed were present among others during the procession.
