Mega job fest held at SSD College

Bathinda, February 21

SSD Women Institute of Technology organised a mega job fest on the college campus here today. The event was aimed at helping unemployed youth of Punjab and Haryana to get placement in reputed corporate houses and providing job opportunities to the needy.

More than 15 companies, including Amazon, Myntra, SBI Life, SBI Credit, ICICI, Technopedia, VaultUP Technologies, Renault, Bajaj Allianz, Carnival Cinema, Edelweiss Tokio, Way2RentOut.com, Skycon Technology, Big Bazar and Young Achievers participated in the fair. Around 500 candidates attended the fair.

The fest was inaugurated by college president Somnath Baghla, Ajay Gupta, Vikas Garg, principal Dr Parminder Kaur Tanghi and Dr Neeru Garg. There were two rounds in the selection process.
