Medical experts and doctors from the region on Saturday dwelt upon advanced treatment techniques during a conference organised by the IMA, Bathinda, at a private hospital here.

A team of doctors from DMCH imparted one-day training in Advanced Cardiac Life Support during cardiac arrest. The doctors elaborated on endotracheal intubation and ECG. 

Members of the Indian Association of Anaesthesiologist and the IMA spoke on different treatment techniques during the workshop. As many as 80 doctors from the region attended the workshop. On Sunday, a medical conference would be organised at a city hotel. The workshop was organised by the IMA in collaboration Dr PS Bakshi, honorary director, IMA, AKN Sinha Institute, was the chief guest and Dr Naresh Goyal was the guest of hounour. Dr Yogeshwar Sood, president, IMA, Punjab, Dr SPS Sooch, former president of the IMA, Punjab, and Dr Amrik Singh, Civil Surgeon, Bathinda, among others, were present on the occasion.

Dr Anu Grewal, Dr Vivek Gupta and Dr Shikha Gupta from DMCH, IMA president Dr Vikas Chabbra and vice-president Dr Ravi Kant Gupta were present. After the conference, Sufi Night, a big musical event, will be held in hotel Three Palms here on Sunday.
