The auction for the canteens of Rose Garden and Joggers Park was held today at the Municipal Corporation office.
The auction for Appu Ghar at Rose garden was also held. MCB superintendent Harbans Lal and Ravi Luna headed the auction and around half a dozen contractors participated in it.
Contractor Aditya Anand got the contract of the canteen of Rose Garden for Rs 4 lakh, against the reserve base price of Rs 3 lakh.
While Ashok and Company got the contract of the canteen at Joggers Park for 1.28 lakh against the base price of Rs 53,000.
This year too, Sneh Bansal got the contract of Appu Ghar at Rose Garden for Rs 4.83 lakh against the reserve base price of Rs 4.37 lakh.
The MCB got a profit of Rs 2.34 lakh as compared to the last year.
