Manpreet Badal shown black flags by AAP supporters

BATHINDA: Supporters of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today showed black flags to the Congress candidate from the Bathinda (urban) constituency, Manpreet Badal, near Kotfatta village.

Supporters of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today showed black flags to the Congress candidate from the Bathinda (urban) constituency, Manpreet Badal, near Kotfatta village.

Manpreet today visited many villages in support of the Congress candidate contesting from the rural constituency.

SHO of the Kotfatta police station, along with his police team, managed the situation and dispersed the supports, who were holding black flags and raising slogans against Manpreet.

“Fortunately we were standing at the Hi-Tech Patrolling Point on the Mansa road near the place where Manpreet was shown black flags. We handled the situation amicably,” said a policeman from the Kotfatta police station.

He said immediately after the incident, newly appointed DSP (rural) Kuldeep Sohi also arrived at the Hi-Tech point as he was also patrolling the area to monitor the situation.
