A medical store owner was arrested with 28,000 drug tablets at Pitho village.

SP (Traffic) Rakesh Kumar said, “On March 22, a police team, including ASI Avtar Singh, was on patrol near the village. The police noticed Sukhchain Singh of the same village coming on the link road to his village with a plastic bag. On suspicion, he was stopped and during a checking, the police recovered the drug tablets of various companies from him.”

He said a case under the NDPS Act had been registered against the accused.
