BATHINDA: The much-awaited visit of the singer-turned-leader and state vice-president of the Aam Aadmi Party, Jassi Jasraj, to Ballianwali village in Maur today didn’t materialise.

The much-awaited visit of the singer-turned-leader and state vice-president of the Aam Aadmi Party, Jassi Jasraj, to Ballianwali village in Maur today didn’t materialise.

Jasraj was scheduled to address a public meeting of supporters in favour of AAP candidate Jagdev Singh Kamalu and also convene a meeting with the party leaders and workers from the constituency to gauge the election situation.

Meanwhile, AAP supporters took out a motorcycle rally in the constituency.

The rally covered Bhai Bakhtaur, Kotbhara, Ramgarh Bhunder, Burj Sema, Jodhpur Pakhar, Maur Chathat Singh, Maur city, Ram Nagar, Maiserkhana, Chanarthal, Manak Khana, Ghasokhana and other villages. — TNS
