Keeping in mind the cold weather and the discomfort it causes to the people who come to attend election rallies or gatherings, politicians have changed their strategy of meeting people.

Instead of gathering crowds in the evening or morning, they meet people in the afternoon when it’s rather warm.

“People don’t come out of their homes before noon and go back early in the evening. So we have decided to hold meetings as per their convenience,” said a local Congress leader and election strategist.

“Whenever we are caught in dense fog in the morning or at night, we spend the time by intensifying door-to-door campaigning,” said an AAP worker.

He said he consumed countless cups of tea these days as villagers felt offended if anybody refused tea

“My intake of tea has increased a lot these days. I consume 40-50 cups in a day. I don’t dare to refuse it wherever I go. But I never forget to keep the medicines with me to treat acidity,” said another candidate.

Leaders of almost all parties have become more conscious of their diet plan. They are taking all care to keep their body, especially their throats, in good condition.
