Bathinda and Amritsar will fight for the title in the Under-19 girls handball tournament being played as part of the 63rd Punjab State School Games at St Xavier’s School. The final match will be held tomorrow.

In the semi-finals, Bathinda beat Moga and Amritsar beat Patiala to make a place in the final.

Yesterday, in the quarterfinal matches, Bathinda beat Ludhiana, Amritsar beat Kairon wing 11-8, Patiala beat Mansa and Moga beat Jalandhar.

During the semifinal matches, state organiser (sports) Rupinder Singh Ravi was present as the chief guest.

He met the players and motivated them to participle in the tournament with sportsmanship.
