Giddha team reaches Russia

The giddha team of Mata Sahib Kaur Girls College, Talwandi Sabo, has reached Saint Petersberg (Russia) to participate in the International Youth Festival. The giddha team has already shown its dancing prowess at the zonal and inter-zonal folk festivals conducted by the Youth Welfare Department of Punjabi University, Patiala.

The team has also brought laurels at the state and national levels, respectively. After such achievements, the giddha team got selected for the International Youth Festival, conducted at Saint Petersberg (Russia) from April 22 till April 28.

As many as 26 countries are going to participate in this International Youth Festival, of which the team got the honour to represent India. Additional secretary of the college, Balwinder Singh Bhunder, on behalf of the local management committee, also wished the team success.
