Five persons have been booked for allegedly assaulting two brothers, who are engaged in a transport business.
Complainant Hardev Singh of Gaatwali village told the police that Madan Singh, Jagsir Singh, Wakil Singh, all residents of his village, and two unidentified persons assaulted him and threatened his brother him with a pistol.
It is being said there is a dispute over a truck between them. A case under Sections 341, 323, 506, 148, 149 and 120-B of the IPC and Sections 25, 27, 54, and 59 of the Arms Act has been registered. IO Gobind Singh said the accused would be arrested soon. — TNS
