Exam postponed, flag flies at half mast

Faridkot, August 17

While postponing the examination for MBBS and BDS courses on Friday due to the demise of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) flew the National Flag at half mast.

All constituent as well as affiliated colleges of the BFUHS and all teaching departments and OPD at colleges remained closed on Friday. The emergency services went on as usual.

The ongoing university examinations for MBBS/BDS courses scheduled to be held on Friday were postponed for a day.

The MSc entrance test-2018 scheduled to be held on Friday was also postponed to August 18 at the examination hall of Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot, (11.00 am to 2.00 pm), said Dr Raj Bahadur, Vice Chancellor. — TNS
