The police have failed to find any clue regarding the driver of the Swift car even 72 hours after the accident in which 13-year-old student Agam Talwar was killed.

Police investigation could not move forward today as the transport office was closed.

The accident occurred at Patel Nagar on Friday morning when the Swift car allegedly driven at 100-km per hour hit Agam as he was cycling in Patel Nagar. The boy died on the spot.

The Cantonment police have been investigating after registering a case against unidentified person under Section 304A of the IPC on the statement of Sanjeev Talwar, father of Agam.

The only clue that the police have is the partial registration number (2323) of the car.

The police have searched through some close circuit television (CCTV) footage from some surrounding buildings, but found nothing.

The police conducted raids in Amarpura Basti and Model Town to find the car without success.

The police have approached the Transport Department to find the owner of the car.

Iqbal Singh, SHO of the Cantonment police station, said police parties were regularly searching for the accused and they hoped to identify him soon.
