Bathinda, March 17

Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal on Sunday continued with his series of public meetings in the city.

Manpreet visited Sai Nagar, House Fed Colony, Silver City, Deep Singh Nagar, Partap Nagar, Multania Road, Sukhpeer Road and other areas in the city.

Addressing the workers, Manpreet Badal said the Congress under its president Rahul Gandhi would form the next government at the Centre.

He said they would win all 13 Lok Sabha seats by a big margin in Punjab.

He said the people of the state were happy with the two-year performance of the government as the Congress had fulfilled most of its promises made to them before the Assembly elections while work on others was under the process.

Manpreet said the Congress had always given preference to peace and communal brotherhood, while some parties were spreading the politics of hatred and religion.

The Finance Minister said using national security for political gains was cheap politics. He said the country had always remained secure in the hands of the Congress government.

Manpreet Badal also listened to public grievances at a function organised by Pardeep Kumar Gola at Partap Nagar.

Bathinda Urban Congress president Arun Wadhawan, Jagroop Gill, Mohan Lal Jhumba and Tehal Singh Sandhu, among other leaders, were present on the occasion.
