Class apart, students break into celebrations

BATHINDA:The city was abuzz with celebrations as a number of students scored more than 90 per cent marks in the CBSE Class X exams, the results of which were declared on Monday.

The city was abuzz with celebrations as a number of students scored more than 90 per cent marks in the CBSE Class X exams, the results of which were declared on Monday. 

Manya Jindal of St. Xavier’s School was among the 13 toppers in the country who scored 99.8 per cent marks with 499 out of 500 marks.

Her school mate Gauravi Goyal bagged the second position in the school with 98.4 per cent marks and Delisha Madhan bagged the third position with 98.2 per cent.

A total of 250 students of   St. Xavier’s School appeared for the CBSE exams and all of them came out with flying colours. A number of students scored full marks in different subjects, including 10 in mathematics, 8 in English, three in Hindi and one in science. A total of 84 students secured more than 90 per cent marks.  

Similarly, students of St. Joseph’s Convent School also performed well in the exams. Pulkit Goyal topped the school with 98.6 per cent marks. Kunal Singhal bagged the second position with 97.8 per cent and Suhani Singla stood third with 97.6 per cent. A total of 257 students had appeared for the exam and all of them passed the exam. Of the total students, 114 scored 90 per cent and above marks.

Students of Lord Rama School also excelled in the exams. Geetanjli topped the school with 97.8 per cent. Aakriti secured 97 per cent to bag the second place and Bhavik got the third position with 96.6 per cent marks.

Karan Garg of Silver Oaks scored 97.4 per cent marks to secure first position in the school. Abhineet Kaur stood second with 97 per cent and Aakriti Midha bagged the third position with 95.8 per cent. Of the total 74 students who appeared for the CBSE exams, 26 scored above 90 per cent. The school registered a pass percentage of 100.  

Students of Delhi Public School also performed well in the exams. Shendge Shreya Sachin and Bhawana Aggarwal jointly share the top position in the school with 97.40 per cent. The school produced 100 per cent results.  

Jiya Mittal topped DAV Public School in the city with 98 per cent marks. Isha Jain scored 97.6 per cent to bag the second position and Naman Goyal and Shrey jointly bagged the third position with 96.8 per cent in the school. Of the 288 students who appeared for the exam, 46 students secured 90 per cent or above marks.

In Sri Guru Har Krishan School, Harmanjot Kaur scored 96.2 per cent marks to secure the first place. Karandeep Singh Sidhu stood second with 96 per cent and Gurpal Singh third with 95 per cent. Of the total 169 students who appeared for the exam, 28 secured 90 per cent and above marks. 

Sounak Das from Millennium School scored 95.8 per cent while Kirti Garg bagged 95.2 per cent and Sukhmanpreet Singh Gill achieved 94 per cent marks.

Students of the Sanawar School for Children also performed well. Sanjana topped the school with 95.60 per cent. Lakhwinder Kaur bagged the second position with 95.40 per cent and Pahuljot Singh stood third with 94.80 per cent. Sakshi Mittal of the school scored 94 per cent marks in the exams.

Pranjal Garg of Rose Mary Convent School topped the school with 95.6 percent marks. Avneet Kaur secured the second position with 94.2 per cent and Aonepreet Kaur got the third position with 93 per cent marks.

Tamanna Goyal of Police Public School scored 94.6 per cent to secure the first position in the school. Tejasvi scored 94.2 per cent and bagged the second position. Mehul Goyal stood third with 92.8 per cent.

Manjit Kumar scored 93 per cent marks to top Kendriya Vidyalaya-1, Bathinda Cantt. Vaneet Vilas Desai scored 92 per cent marks to secure the second position and Harita scored 91.9 per cent to bag the third position in the school. All 64 students of Class X passed the exam.

Sukhmanjit Kaur of DM Senior Secondary School, Kararwala, Rampura Phul, scored 93 per cent to top the school. Gagandeep Kaur scored 92 per cent and Jaspreet Kaur secured 90 per cent.

Gurpreet Singh of Universal Public School, Talwandi Sabo, topped the school with 93.8 per cent. Pavittar Singh and Ravi Singh jointly bagged the second position with 93.4 per cent marks. Jaspreet Singh scored 92.8 per cent to bag the third place in the school.
