An awareness programme on heart related problems was organised at Adesh Hospital where cardiac patients and their relatives were sensitised regarding symptoms and preventive measures against deadly disease in the lecture session.

The session started with the speech by chief cardiologist Dr Rakendra Singh in which he shared all the problems being faced by heart patients.

He developed a balanced synergy with cardiac patients and their relatives and cleared their concerns related to heart and heart problems and explained all preventive measures to be taken specifically by patients and all individuals in general.

Dr AS Bansal of Adesh Hospital Bathinda explained the value and need for regular follow-up and regular monitoring of blood pressure and blood sugar.

Hospital’s senior dietician Dr Vandana Miglani delivered a lecture on the diet schedules for patients and explained type of diet, amount of components and constituents and the adequate amount of sugar, salt and oil to be used in daily planned nutrition. The session was further continued by Shivam, in-charge of physiotherapy department, who explained the value of exercise regime in daily routine and introduced advanced methods of physiotherapy for cardiac patients.
