Students of Baba Farid Group of Institutions (BFGI) visited industrial units in Amritsar to get practical knowledge about various concepts.

Around 100 students from BFGI participated in the educational tour who were apprised of the coke-manufacturing process, capacity management, marketing and sales processes, packing and space management.

According to faculty members of the institute, the idea behind the tour was to provide first-hand experience of the corporate world and also prepare themselves for their careers.

Students of MCom (first year), BCom (final year) and BBA (final year) visited Wave Beverages Pvt Ltd and the Coca Cola plant in Amritsar.

The managers at the firm explained the entire fully-automated production process of the company in a sequential manner. During the visit, an interactive session was conducted where students put questions to the production team and they explained everything in a very simplified manner.
