BFGI students shine in Pbi varsity exams

BATHINDA: The students of Baba Farid Group of Institutions (BFGI) have performed well in academics. The results were recently announced by the Punjabi University, Patiala.

The students of Baba Farid Group of Institutions (BFGI) have performed well in academics. The results were recently announced by the Punjabi University, Patiala.

The students of B.Sc (Agriculture), Rasandeep Kaur, secured 87.83 per cent marks and bagged the first position in the college followed by Rajvinder Kaur, who secured 87.33 per cent marks, bagging the second position while Amarjeet Singh secured 86 per cent marks to secure the third position in the college.

Apart from that, Ramandeep Singh secured 85.33 per cent marks to secure the fourth place in the college. It is pertinent to mention that four students secured more than 85 per cent marks, 17 students secured more than 80 per cent marks, 56 students secured above 75 per cent while 104 students secured more than 70 per cent marks in B Sc (Agriculture) sixth semester examinations, attributed to innovative teaching methodology.

Chairman of the BFGI, Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, congratulated the students, their parents and faculty members on the result. — TNS
