Baba Farid College students top Punjabi varsity exams

BATHINDA: Students of Baba Farid College have performed well in the BSc Hons Biotechnology (Semester I) examination conducted by the Punjabi University recently.

Students of Baba Farid College have performed well in the BSc Hons Biotechnology (Semester I) examination conducted by the Punjabi University recently. Hardik Garg and Manik Grover topped the merit list by securing 9.2 semester grade point average (SGPA) followed by second rank holder Gaganpreet Kaur, securing 8.9 SGPA and third rank holder Simran Sharma, securing 8.7 SGPA.

Apart from these, Jaismeen Kaur and Usha bagged fourth position in the college by securing 8.6 SGPA while, Sangam secured 8.5 SGPA and bagged fifth position in the college.

Similarly, Kumari Heena and Manjeet Kaur bagged sixth position in the college by securing 8.3 SGPA while, Tushar Garg secured 8.2 SGPA and bagged seventh position.

Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, chairman, Baba Farid Group of Institutes (BFGI) congratulated all students for their academic performance and said, “It’s an honour for BFGI that students are scoring so well in their university examination touching new heights every day. Our students have made us proud with their extraordinary results. Their exceptional results are the outcome of special efforts made by the department.”
