Bathinda: The police have arrested five persons with intoxicant pills and syrup and have registered four cases under the NDPS Act. In the first case, the Maur police arrested Dushant Kumar, a resident of Janta Colony, Rampura, and Harbans Singh, a resident of Maur, and recovered 19 bottles of intoxicant syrup and 60 intoxicant pills. The Talwandi Sabo police arrested Jagseer Singh, a resident of Sardoolgarh, with 150 intoxicant pills from Kalalwala village. The Maur police arrested Tarsem Singh, a resident of Mansa Kalan, with six bottles of intoxicant syrup. The Raman police arrested Jora Singh, a resident of Pakka Kalan village, with 500 intoxicant pills from Pakka Kalan village. All accused have been booked under the NDPS Act.
