Five motorcycles have been stolen from the Civil Hospital in the last one-and-a-half month in the city.

Surprisingly, there is a police post on the Civil Hospital premises. The parking contractor also gives receipts for parking.

The police didn’t register the theft cases on the days they were stolen and instead registered a joint case for five stolen motorcycles today.

Police officials claimed that investigation was on in all cases and soon they would nab the accused.

In a complaint, Baltej Singh, a resident of Kotbhai village, has stated that on January 4, he had parked his motorcycle at the Civil Hospital, which was later found missing.

Similarly, Anmol Jain, a city resident, has also lodged a complaint that his motorcycle was stolen from the Civil Hospital.

Jaswinder Singh, a resident of Shant Nagar, has also lodged a similar complaint with the police.

Chinder Singh, a resident of Bir Talab Basti, has also stated in his complaint that his bike was stolen from the Civil Hospital.
