The police have booked three persons, including two residents of Ghaziabad, for cheating a shopkeeper at Khalsa School Market of Bathinda.

In his complaint, Gurdev Singh said the three accused — Hardarshan Singhania and Gautam Singhania, both residents of Ghaziabad and an area sales manager of their company, Satpal Rana — cheated him by pocketing Rs 3.35 lakh over false claims of helping him in his bhujia business.

Police officials at the Kotwali police station said a case under Sections 506 and 420 of the IPC had been registered against the accused who would be arrested soon. —TNS
