The police have booked two residents of Ludhiana for carrying their weapon.

All arms holders have been directed across the state to submit their weapons to their area police stations or gun houses in the wake of the Assembly elections.

The accused have been identified as Lakhwinder Singh and Rajpal Singh, both residents of Ludhiana.

A case under Section 188 of the CrPc has been registered at the Sadar Rampura police station.

They were carrying a .32 revolver, along with two live cartridges.
