Box: Dhindsa lashes out at Govt

Parminder Singh Dhindsa alleged that Punjab Government had failed on all fronts. “The sale of drugs has increased across the state and now the Congress MLAs have come out in the open to expose their own government. Home delivery of drugs has started and drugs smugglers are supplying drugs on phone calls. The CM and the police have failed to take effective steps against drugs,” said Dhindsa.

He also alleged that Punjab Government was not cooperating with the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) in celebrating 550th Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev.

“The government has not extended invitation to any SAD MLA. The Congress government must understand and keep in mind that it’s a religious function and the SGPC is a religious body, which is organising the function. Punjab Government should cooperate with the body,” said Dhindsa.
