The Division D police have booked Akshay Puri, alias Gollu, of Lahori Gate for allegedly opening firing during Lohri celebrations.

Narinder Kumar, a PSPCL employee, complained that he, along with his family and friends, was celebrating Lohri outside his house in the street when the accused tried to open a fire but could not. Later, he went towards a corner of the street and fired into the air. Though the exact reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained, the police have registered a case against the accused. — TNS
