Tarn Taran, April 12
A team of the local CIA staff led by ASI Sukhdev Singh arrested two persons of Bhagwanpur village and recovered 270 gm of heroin from their possession. The accused have been identified as Rasal Singh and Jugraj Singh, the police said. A case under Sections 21, 29, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The police are trying to ascertain whom did they procure the contraband from and to whom did they want to supply the same.
