Theka Mulazim Action panel wants welfare Act in action

Accusing the Congress Government for not fulfilling their poll –bound promises made to them, the Theka Mulazim action committee sat on hunger site ahead of the MC polls.

However, the hunger strike was reverted as the Congress leader Jugal Kishore Sharma visited the spot and assured them of organising a meeting with the CM Captain Amarinder Singh. The leaders of the committee accused the government of ignoring them.

Vikas Kumar, a leader of the Theka Mulazim action committee said, “ We have our own issues such as regularisation, others facilities being provided to regular employees. The employees of Sewa Kendra should also be given benefits.”

The protesting union have also asked the government for the adhoc, contractual, daily wages, temporary, Work Charged and Outsourced Employee’ Welfare Act 2016 to be implemented properly. The protesting employees also marched towards Kacheri chowk, raising anti-government slogans.
