Unidentified miscreants struck at Government Middle School, Faizpura, and decamped with valuables on Sunday night.

Ravinderjit Kaur, headmistress of the school, stated in her compliant that when the school was opened on Monday, the staff found the doors of classrooms open and four ceiling fans, a stitching machine, a water pump and a pressure cooker missing.

The Civil Lines police have registered a case under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code.
