Tarn Taran 43rd in cleanliness

Tarn Taran has captured the 43rd rank at the national level and second in the state in terms of the Central Government-sponsored Swachh Bharat Abhiyan under Swachhta Darpan move, said Pardeep Kumar Sabharwal, Deputy Commissioner, here today.

The DC said a total number of 44,481 toilets were to be constructed in the district for the deserving families. Construction of 15,510 toilets had been completed. — OC
