Students come out with flying colours

AMRITSAR: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Tuesday announced the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) results of Class X and Class XII exams, respectively.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Tuesday announced the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) results of Class X and Class XII exams, respectively.

Anuksha Aggarwal, a student of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, scored 98.4 per cent marks in the ICSE Class X exams. Arsheep Kaur, a non-medical student of the same school, scored 96 per cent marks in the ISC Class XII exams. Her schoolmate Diya Mahajan secured 96 per cent.

Holy Heart Presidency Senior Secondary School was abuzz with celebrations as students excelled in the Class X and XII exams.

In the Class X exams, Jasmeen Kaur topped the school with 97.2 per cent. Harsh Yadav bagged the second position with 96.4 per cent and Mehakdeep Kaur stood third with 96 per cent marks.

In the Class XII exams, Awalnoor topped the school with 96 per cent marks. Karanbeer secured the second position with 96.25 per cent and Avneet bagged the third position with 96.3 per cent.

Sehajveer Singh of Alexandra School secured 98.5 per cent marks in the non-medical stream. Sehajveer said he wants to explore aerospace in future and has appeared for multiple entrance exams. He said he did not use the social media to achieve his target.

Meanwhile, Paras of the same school scored 96.5 per cent marks in the medical stream and Ravgun Kaur bagged 94.5 percent. Jaibir Singh of the commerce stream scored 84.25 per cent.

Students of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Basant Avenue, broke into celebration after the declaration of results.

Three students— Harsimrat Kaur (97%), Sehajnoor Kaur (97%) and Ravneet Kaur(97%) — jointly secured the first position in the school in the Class X exams. Seven students shared the second position with 96 per cent marks. A total of six students bagged the third position with 95 per cent.
