Security in charge of hotel found dead

The security in charge of a hotel in the Kathia Wala bazaar in the walled city area was found dead under mysterious circumstances on the hotel premises. The police was yet to find the cause of death behind the incident.

The police have taken the body into their custody for conducting a post-mortem examination to ascertain the cause of death. They have initiated action under the CrPC.

Randhir Singh, Additional SHO, Kotwali police station, said the deceased was identified as Jarnail Singh, a resident of the Fatehabad area. He said during preliminary investigations, the police could not find any apparent cause of death and, therefore, they would wait till they got the post-mortem examination report. — TNS
