Road mishap victim dies

AMRITSAR: Mukhtiar Singh, who was run over by a JCB machine near Drumma Wala Bazaar two days ago, succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.

Mukhtiar Singh, who was run over by a JCB machine near Drumma Wala Bazaar two days ago, succumbed to his injuries on Sunday. His son Daljit Singh said Mukhtiar Singh was returning home on a cycle when a “rashly-driven” JCB vehicle hit him. The police have booked the driver, identified as Kuldeep Singh of Bhohru village. — TNS
