Recruitment drive at CKDIMT

Amritsar: CKD Institute of Management and Technology (CKDIMT) organised a recruitment drive recently. Tech Mahindra, a leading global systems integrator and business transformation consultant, organised the placement drive jointly with the institute. Tech Mahindra deals in business support systems (BSS), operations support systems (OSS), network design and engineering, next generation networks, mobility solutions, security consulting and testing. A large number of students participated in the placement drive. Five students of the college, who were selected include, Manju Mehra, Navkiran Aulakh, Sandeep Kaur, Alisha and Sunaina Kumari. They will join as associate technical support. Earlier, Paytm visited the CKDIMT campus and selected Baljeet Singh, Harpreet Singh Tanveer Singh and Lakshay Malhotra, all students of the institute, as field sales officer with a attractive salary package. The CKDIMT president, Charanjit Singh Chadha, said such recruitment drives propelled careers of students in the industry and also helped them showcase their skills to bring out their best capabilities.

BBK DAV students get placement

As many as 84 students of BBK DAV College for Women were selected in a campus placement drive held by Concentrix, a business service company, delivering solutions and services in 40 languages and focusing on customer service solutions, industry specific services and technical and product support. As many as 210 students of BCA, BSc (IT), BSc (Computer Science), BSc (economics), BCom (regular) and BCom (private-final year) participated in the placement drive. The selection was based on spoken English test, free speech test, aptitude test and HR interview. M Balasubramaninan and Komal, both HR recruiters besides Mani Shekhar, talent assessor, conducted interviews. Principal, Dr Pushpinder Walia, congratulated selected students. He said the placement cell of the college worked relentlessly to provide job opportunities to students. — TNS
